For our commercial and industrial flat roofs, we use Carlisle and Firestone products. On low-sloped and flat Gaco Western roof coating system.

Firestone UltraPly TPO

Firestone TPO

Firestone EPDM

Firestone TPO

Firestone UltraPly TPO is a flexible Thermoplastic PolyOlefin (TPO) roofing membrane suitable for a variety of low slope commercial and industrial roofing applications. It can also be combined with extensive green roof and/or solar PV installations.

Benefits of UltraPly™ TPO

Durability Durability, Flexibility and Versatility – UltraPly TPO is highly resistant to tears, impacts, and punctures yet remains flexible to allow for building movement – it is available in 3 different thicknesses, 0.045”, 0.060”, and 0.080”. TPO can be installed on low and high slope surfaces and can be heated and reshaped multiple times, which is particularly helpful when completing roof details.
Easy Installation Economical and Easy to Install – UltraPly TPO’s flexibility allows for a rapid installation and requires little maintenance throughout its life. TPO membranes are commonly fully adhered or mechanically attached to the underlying insulation or cover board. Firestone UltraPly TPO membranes are available in rolls ranging from 5’ x 100’ to 12.4’ x 200 which reduce number of seams and cut labour costs drastically.
Cool Roofing Matters – A light coloured roof that reflects the sun’s energy can play a significant role in reducing the buildings cooling costs. It also offers benefits to the surrounding environment through a reduction of the urban heat island (UHI) effect.
Welded Seams for Long-Lasting Performance – TPO membranes are heat-welded at 926ºC with a hot-air gun. The result is a fused seam that’s stronger than the field of the membrane.
Cost Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly – TPO membranes contain no toxic or hazardous ingredients and are fully recyclable.

Firestone EPDM

Firestone’s single-ply EPDM roofing systems are based on a high-performance synthetic rubber compound that provides outstanding weathering characteristics in climates worldwide. From office buildings and distribution warehouses to hospitals and schools, Firestone has an EPDM roofing solution that’s right for you.

Benefits of RubberGard™ EPDM

Durability Exceptional Durability – EPDM is virtually immune to ozone, UV radiation, and harsh temperatures. With the presence of carbon black fillers within the membrane, UV radiation is absorbed and converted into heat, to which the membrane resists very well. EPDM does not rely on plasticizers for its flexibility, so there is no danger of the material becoming brittle from plasticizer loss throughout the life of the roof.
Easy Installation Rapid and Easy Installation – EPDM is available in large panels (30.5m x 5.8m) that can be installed using primers and self-adhesive products, no flames or electricity is required.
Cost Low Life Cycle Costs – With little or no maintenance required throughout the life of an EPDM roof, and a competitive installation cost, EPDM roofing systems result in a very low life cycle cost.
Cost High Flexibility and Elongation in any Climate – EPDM elongates over 300% to accommodate building movements in climates worldwide. EPDM has proven performance in Canadian winters at -45 °C and in tropical Madagascar climates at +45 °C.
Cost Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly – EPDM is an inert material with limited environmental impact during manufacturing, installation and use. EPDM is also fully recyclable.

Gaco Western Silicone Roof Coating System

Gaco Western

Gaco Western roof Coating System

Re-cover, don’t re-roof. You’ll save money, time and aggravation and avoid time-consuming and costly tear-offs.

Whether your roof is large or small, flat or sloped, GacoFlex Silicone Roof Coating Systems provide a proven, guaranteed solution for renewing your weathered roof. They can be applied to virtually any existing roofing surface to create a seamless membrane that protects against permanent ponding water, ultraviolet light and severe weather.

The key advantages of using a silicone roofing system:

  • Silicone is permanent and will not degrade, chalk or crack under harsh UV rays.
  • Silicone forms a seamless membrane that withstands permanent ponding water without softening.
  • Silicone creates a smooth surface that offers excellent resistance to mold, mildew and staining.

AVOID TIME-CONSUMING AND COSTLY TEAR-OFFS. By re-covering, you save on labor costs and avoid landfill expenses, plus your existing roof can be re-covered without any interruption to normal business operations.

EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOUR ROOF. By renewing your roof, you’ll never need to replace the roof again.

REDUCE ENERGY COSTS. The highly-reflective, glossy finish of GacoFlex S20 and S21 Silicone Roof Coatings can help reduce energy costs.

IDEAL FOR USE ON FLAT AND LOW-SLOPED ROOFS. Apply over pre-existing elastomeric roof coatings, metal roofs, built-up roofing, mineral cap sheet, and weathered single ply membranes (EPDM, Hypalon® and TPO/CPA). Re-coat existing sprayed-in-place polyurethane foam, concrete, wood, and many other coatings.
